2. Fleet Booster needs Leadership? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
A Fleet Booster needs the to possess the proper leadership skills to match the size/division of the fleet. What this means, basidally, is the fleet booster must have the same (or greater) level of leadership skill as the actual squad leader. Also,...

3. Cap Boosting Raven vs. Drake for Level 4's (poor cap skills) - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
4 Navy BCUs is way overkill for mininimal gank. You'd be better dropping one BCU and putting either a Cap Flux II (reduces shield HP slightly for faster Cap recharge), or a Damage Control II to raise resists (and reduce damage). I would also recoo...

4. First Caldari battleship choice and fighting Sleepers - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Unless you have good (read t2 equipment) EWAR skills, your better off sticking to a Drake. Scorpion is one of the best EWAR ships around, but you need top skills to be able to jam while staying out of range of the targets, not to mention the inevi...

5. Drake weaknesses - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Drake > BS tank. Cruiser gank Hate to say it, but there's no realistic way a Drake will lose a one-on-one fight to a rifter.. Even webbed and scrammed. You'd be luckyto get him down to less than 50% shields, and every 6-7 seconds he will be hi...

6. Minning. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
You can either go the LOL way and use an industrial (great for AFK mining), or better yet just train up for the retriever. Osprey doesn't have a much bigger cargo than the Bantam (450 m3), vs. Industrial (5-10K m3) vs. Retriever (2-3K m3). Plus, R...

7. What about that good ol' Falcon/Rook? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
If you want to do fleet EWAR, try the Scorpion. Just need Cal BS and decent EWAR skills. Can jam more ships than Falcon. but less range (100-150Km) and less speed/bigger sig. Still, definitely a fun addition to any fleet party with decent tacklers...

8. Need a PVPVE Scorpion fit for WHs - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Remember.. The Scorpion is an EWAR ship, and is meant to be used as part of a gang. With high ewar skills and higher BS skill (4-5), it is really better than a Falcon: able to target and jam at 100KM +, hopefully well out of the range of any poten...

10. Pirates Versus a New Guy's Drake... - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Unforunately I have to agree with the others to a certain degree.. soloing lo-sec is extreely difficult if you don't have a lot of skills and equipment. And you stand almost no chance against a well trained GROUP of pirates. It's just not going to...

11. Ship for lvl 3 missions need help. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
This may or may not help.. but the Drake, I think, is almost doing lvl 5's in easy mode. I use 3 Active Hardners/DCU II/ Passive Regen tank, and can do lvl 3 Blockade all day long. 7x HML and T2 (light) drones will own most missions.

13. Solo level 4 Raven. Good or bad? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
For hardwiring imp, ants, go with any that give boost to cruise missiles. You need DPS more than Tank. The faster and further you can kill, the less damage you will take. If you're really serious, train for T2 cruise. Try this set-up: *HIGH SLOTS*...

14. mining ships - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Hulk is definetly the best. 3 strip miners, Base 8k M3 of cargo, expandable to over 17K with 2x Cargo Optim I rigs and 2x Cargo Expand II's in lows. Best shield tank of all (true) mining vessels, period. If your really serious about mining, go Hulk.

15. Need subjective opinions: lvl4 damage supporter, which HAC? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
You could just use a T2 fitted Drake. Fit with HAMs or HMLs, a TP, decent shield tank, and a load of Regular and Fury/Terror missiles (regular for frigs/Destoyers, Fury's for cruisers to BS's). Load some T2 HobGoblin's and your golden. Good tank a...

16. Drake is it good ? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Drakes are NOt BS's. They aren't as flexible as some other ships/designs. However, they CAN PvP, with the right set-up and skills, as long as you keep in mind it's strengths and weaknesses. It can strike from a goodly distance with HML's and last ...

If you need a rig to run your strips and Booster simultaniously.. you're doing it wrong. I can run my 3x MSM II's, Small SB, and an Invuln II hardner and remain Cap stable at 50%. Just add 1 Cap Recharger II to the mids. Seriously, the Cargo Opti...

18. From harb to drake; latter starting to seem more appealing - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
The ships purpose will dictate whether you use HML or HAM's. If you want to dictate range and/or use it for PVE/Missions, go HML. If you only plan on using for PvP/Gang, go HAM (don't forget the afterburner). The Drake has one of the more incredib...

20. Hulk question. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Pfft.. I agree that if you have even decent mining skills, the Hulk will pay for itself, very quickly. Expanded cargo, MLU's, 3 X t2 MSM II and one of the best small shield tanks in the game = mining uB3rness. It's the ONLY way to go for med-low s...
